Filipa Duarte Gonçalves (born in 1978), Senior Associate at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. since September 2023. Graduated from University of Minho (2004) and holds a master’s degree in European Union Law from the same University (2012), with a master’s thesis on customs litigation and joined the Portuguese Bar Association in 2006.
Filipa attended the 5th Specialisation Course in Compliance and Criminal Law at the University of Coimbra, the Criminal Law Course in Artificial Intelligence at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon, and the Compliance Course for the Prevention of Corruption at the Nova School of Law at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

From 2010 to 2023, Filipa was a member of the Civil & Arbitration practice group and, later, the Criminal & Compliance practice group at Miranda & Associados. Her pratice focused on civil and criminal litigation in Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, East Timor, Mozambique, São Tomé and Princípe and Guinea Bissau. In recent years, Filipa’s pratices has focused on white-collar crime, cybercrime, environmental crime, tax, and compliance. Filipa is a certified trainer and has been a media commenr«tator on several criminal cases. Filipa is also a member of Forúm Penal – Associação de Advogados Penalistas. Author of academic articles on environmental crime and compliance.
