Senior Associate in the Commercial, Corporate and Real Estate Law areas, he has been involved in a significant number of transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital and structuring of projects using European incentives.

He regularly provides commercial and corporate support to national and foreign business groups in various sectors of activity, including corporate governance, family businesses, reorganizations and restructuring of companies and their industrial property.

He has vast experience in the areas of renewable energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry, as well as in transactions related to technology and patented processes, dealing with private mergers and acquisitions and with companies of high relevance in the sector.

He also assists national companies in attracting investment in the venture capital sector, as well as assisting in the structuring and development of transactions for major real estate projects.

In the last few years, he has provided regular legal assistance to several companies in the energy, renewable energy, chemical and biochemical industry sectors in Portugal.

He is graduated in Law from the Lisbon Law School (2011), attended the Masters in Corporate Legal Sciences at the Nova University Law School (2012) and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Securities Law at the University of Lisbon Law School (2014).

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2015, he was trainee lawyer at Telles de Abreu Advogados from 2011-2015, and was an associate lawyer at the same firm from 2015-2017. He joined the team of Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados as an Associate in 2017-2018, having collaborated with CCSL Advogados and 2019.

In 2023 Michael-Dean Fialho joined Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados as a Senior Associate.
