Pedro da Quitéria Faria (born 1980), Partner at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. Graduated in Law from the Law Faculty of Universidade Moderna de Lisboa (2007). Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association in 2007. After graduating, Pedro completed his internship at ACFA - Antas da Cunha Ferreira & Associados, becoming a senior associate and head of the firm's labor law department.

In 2013, he became the first non-founding partner of ACFA. In 2014 he joined the Labor Department of Miranda, Correia e Amendoeira, Sociedade de Advogados R.L., as a Senior Associate. He was a university lecturer - Labour Law I and II and Legal and Judicial Practice I and II, at the Law School of Universidade Moderna de Lisboa. In October 2022 he completed the Legal Project Management & Process Improvement Programme at IE Law School in Madrid.

He has collaborated with several national and international publications, where he has published articles on labor issues and participated as a speaker in conferences related to labor law. He has been a resident commentator on Económico TV of Diário Económico, and is a regular television commentator in various media, particularly on matters relating to employment law and sports law. He was coordinator as Hosting Partner of the MSI Regional Meeting Lisbon 2012.

He was distinguished by Chammbers & Partners Europe Employment in 2020, 2021 and 2022 (Highly Recommmended as a Ranked Lawyer). In 2021 he was recognized as Lawyer of the Year by Iberian Lawyer Labour Awards Portugal in Social Security, having been nominated for the same award in five other categories.

He was nominated by Coorporate Intl. and MSI Alliance for Portugal in the Employment Law area.

He is a member of APODIT (Portuguese Employment Law Association); EELA - European Employment Lawyers Association and AJJ (Young Lawyers Association).

Preferred practice areas are Labour Law, Labour Compliance, Labour Tech, International Labour Relations and Sports Law.
