Ana Marques (born in 1974), joined Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados as Of Counsel in April 2024 and has been registered with the Bar Association since 2002.

Degree in Law from Lusíada University, Lisbon (1998); Postgraduate degree in Information Society Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2001); Postgraduate in Legislative Process and Legistics from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon - Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (2005); Postgraduate in Economic and Tax Aspects of Intangible Assets (Intellectual Property, Image Rights and Information Technologies) - ESADE, Barcelona, Faculty of Law (2010); “BlockChain & SmartContracts” Program by CATÓLICA-LISBON and TÉCNICO+ (2022); Between September 2020 and December 2023, Ana was Coordinator of the State Digitalization Pillar, in the Portugal Digital Mission Structure (Estrutura de Missão Portugal Digital); Between September 2012 and August 2020, Coordinating Associate of the Department of Intellectual Property, Information Technologies, Electronic Commerce and Data Protection at Next - Gali Macedo & Associados, Law Firm.

Ana was mentor for startups incubated at Startup Lisboa, in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, Information Technologies and E-commerce; Vice – President of the Board of Directors of the Italian Committee of the Business Software Alliance (BSA); and Member of the Information Technology and Electronic Commerce Law Department of the Legislation Committee of the Bar Association.
