BIOGRAPHY
Andreia de Deus Rijo, lawyer at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. since September 2021.
She completed her law degree at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, and a postgraduate degree in Tax Law at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (IDEFF, 2019).
Andreia started her career as a trainee lawyer at Caiado Guerreiro, Sociedade de Advogados in 2015, at the Tax area and Private Clients team until 2021.
Her practice is focused on tax law on the national and international levels. She regularly advises singular and cooperative entities in diverse operations, such as the constitution of investment structures, financing, and restructuring, particularly in issues regarding double taxation, direct and indirect taxes. She has been actively providing legal and tax advice on domestic and international tax planning in the context of wealth management and succession planning. She also dedicates to dispute resolution, representing taxpayers before tax authorities and judicial and arbitration courts, in several areas of taxation.
She is a member of the AFP (Portuguese Tax Association) and author of articles related to tax matters.
