BIOGRAPHY
Maria Beatriz Alexandre Bento Damas Caniço (born in 2001), Trainee Lawyer at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, since September 2024.
She graduated with a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023).
She studied for one semester in Brno at Masaryk University as part of the Erasmus+ international program.
She has completed the coursework phase of her Master's in Law and Legal Practice and Forensic Legal Sciences, which began in September 2023, and is awaiting the defense of her dissertation.
After completing her law degree, between October 2023 and July 2024, she attended the Postgraduate Program in Law Enforcement, Compliance, and Corporate Liability at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
During her law degree, she attended several specialized courses: "Power and Constitutional Law" taught by Professor Massimo Luciani from Sapienza University of Rome; "Construction Contracts in the System of German Civil Law," taught by Professor Jochen Glockner from the University of Konstanz; "European Integration Through Preliminary Ruling Proceedings," taught by Professor Ana Soares Pinto from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon; and "Introduction to European Private Law," taught by Professor Andreas Schwartze from the University of Innsbruck.
