Tomás Pereira Carneiro (born 1998) has been a Junior Associate at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Lda. since 2024.
He graduated in Law and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto (2021). He completed his LL.M. in European Business and Social Law at Bocconi University, Milan in 2024, where he acted as Coordinator of the TradeLab Legal Clinic, in the area of corporate governance and dispute resolution.
He is currently attending the X Postgraduate Course in Arbitration Law at the Private Law Research Center of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
He completed his Bar Professional Internship at the Lisbon office of Uría Menéndez (2023), having worked in the Banking and Finance, Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions, Litigation and Arbitration and Competition and EU Law departments.
He is the co-author of several publications, such as A general introduction to foreign investment regulation in Portugal (Lexology) and A Year in Review: foreign investment regulation in Portugal (Lexology).
He is a member of the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (German Arbitration Institution).
