Artur Filipe da Silva (born 1972)
Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in 1996. Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association, in 1998.
Post-graduation in Political Sciences, Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1997).
Post-graduation in Management and Tax from the Instituto de Estudos Superiores Financeiros e Fiscais (1999).
Post-gradutation in Public Procurement, Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2009).
Trainee Lawyer at Santiago Neves R.L., Associados between 1996 and 1998, where he remained as a Lawyer.
In 2001, Artur joined the law firm Barrocas Sarmento Neves, RL until 2004 and between 2005 and 2006 was a Senior Lawyer at Ferreira Pinto R.L.,
Artur was Chief of Staff on a Government Office between 2007 and 2008 and joined Barrocas Sarmento Neves law firm between 2008 and 2009.
Artur was Partner at BAS Law Firm since 2010.
During his 24 career years, Artur advised the government body responsible for National eProcurement Programme Unidade de Missão Inovação e Conhecimento (UMIC), from 2003 to 2010;
Artur was also part of the team responsible for advising the Portuguese Government in setting up and implement the National Public – Private Partnership program (PPP) for the Health sector.
Artur advised several public entities on corporate law and private entities on corporate law mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters and has also a significant experience on public procurement and real estate areas.
Artur joined Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados as Of Counsel in October 2020, where he provides legal advice in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and Real Estate.
