BIOGRAPHY
Teresa Sá Carneiro, Trainee Lawyer at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. since December 2024.
Graduated in Law from the Porto School of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. Studied a semester in Rio de Janeiro at the Getulio Vargas Foundation as part of the Erasmus+ international programme. Postgraduate studies in Corporate Finance - Corporate Finance Law at the University of Lisbon Law School (CIDP).
During the period of her Law degree she was awarded Merit Scholarships and was a member of the Board of the University Newspaper.
Teresa began her career as a trainee lawyer in 2022 at PLMJ Lawyers, SP, RL, having joined the Corporate M&A and Dispute Resolution teams as part of her trainee rotation.
Has advised on national and cross-border M&A transactions in a wide range of business sectors, and also has extensive experience in advising various corporate issues - corporate finance, housekeeping, audits and corporate governance. She is also involved in corporate reorganisations and advises on strategic company law issues in general.
