BIOGRAPHY
Marta Albuquerque Coelho is an Associate in the Intellectual Property practice area, focusing on copyright and related rights, image rights, and trademarks, including the registration and maintenance of trademarks and domain names, drafting of contracts and licensing agreements, as well as representing clients in Intellectual Property disputes. She also collaborates in the Privacy and Cybersecurity area, providing support on data protection and compliance matters.
Marta concluded her internship for the Portuguese Bar Association at DLA Piper, within the Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) department, where she gained experience in intellectual property law, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, and e-commerce matters.
Marta holds a master’s degree in ICT Law, Social Networks, and Intellectual Property from ESADE Law School in Barcelona, Spain (2022), and has also attended the course "Theory and Practice of Personal Data Protection" taught by NOVA School of Law (2021).
