Maria Lunet Soeiro is a Trainee Lawyer in Antas da Cunha.

She completed a postgraduate programme in Intellectual Property Law at APDI and the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023–2025). Maria began her professional career at Inventa S.A., where she worked as a legal adviser (2023–2024). In 2024, she joined Abalada Matos, Moraes Cardoso e Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, RL (AMMC Legal) as a trainee lawyer.
Author of the article “Trademark Opposition and the (In)Admissibility of the Distance Theory in Trademark Defence”, published in the journal O Direito, Year 157, 2025, IV, in January 2026, and of the article “The Path of Copyright Law to the 19th-Century Berne Convention: An International and Portuguese Historical-Legal Overview”, published in the journal JULGAR (digital edition) in January 2026.
Maria joined Antas da Cunha Ecija in April 2026.
