BIOGRAPHY
Gonçalo Brites da Silva has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados since October 2024 and has 7 years of experience.
Gonçalo Brites da Silva graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2016 and attended the Masters in Law and Management at the same institution, in conjunction with the Nova School of Business and Economics.
He began his professional career as a tax consultant at Deloitte in 2017, where he was part of the individual, international and private client tax teams.
In January 2023, he took on the role of Assistant to the Secretary of State for Tax Affairs of the XXIII Government of the Portuguese Republic, a position he held until January 2024.
Between January 2024 and October 2024, he was Manager of the consultancy firm EY, providing individual tax consultancy services to various national and multinational companies.
He provides tax services to individual clients, as well as national and multinational companies, focusing on national and international taxation.
He has been a researcher at the NOVA Tax Research Lab since January 2024, having participated as a guest speaker in the inaugural session of the first edition of the E-course on tax aspects related to the international mobility of individuals.
