Diogo Moreira Ramos joins Antas da Cunha ECIJA as a Senior Associate in the TMT - Technology, Media and Telecommunications area in 2025, bringing solid national and international experience in data protection, technology law and cybersecurity. Diogo returns to Antas da Cunha Ecija after having joined the firm in 2020 and 2022.

Throughout his career, he has worked with several leading law firms, such as BAS - Sociedade de Advogado, where he worked as an associate in the commercial and corporate law department (2018 to 2020), Antas da Cunha Ecija (2020 to 2022) as an associate, in the commercial and corporate and TMT - Technology, Media and Telecommunications departments, and GPA Advogados, where he worked as a senior associate, having coordinated the Data Protection area (2022 to 2024).

He has also worked with multinationals such as L'Oréal (2015) and Organon Pharmaceuticals (2024 to 2025), where he was Senior Privacy Specialist, a position with a strong international component. He participated in cross-cutting compliance and data protection projects in a European and non-EU context, contributing to the definition of global data protection policies.

Diogo has held the position of Data Protection Officer (DPO) in various public and private sector organizations, including CP - Comboios de Portugal, EPE, RSA Gestão e Investimentos Lda, which operates the “Jean Louis David” and “The Barber Company” brands in Portugal, and Prifalésia - Construção e Gestão de Hoteis S.A., which owns the “Domes Lake Algarve” hotel, among others.

He has a degree in Law (2012) and a Master's degree in Forensic Legal Sciences (2018) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, as well as postgraduate degrees in Bioethics (2015), Intellectual Property Law (2019) and Data Protection and Companies (2018). He had the opportunity to teach a doubtful class at the Data Protection and Companies Postgraduate Course, organized by the Private Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in 2023, and represented the law firm GPA at the GGI World Conference 2023, in Lisbon, reinforcing its international projection.

In 2021, her team at Antas da Cunha Ecija was distinguished by IBERIAN LAWYER IP & TMT as Law Firm of the Year Information Technology and Law Firm of the Year Privacy.
