Ana Pires da Silva is Counsel in the Public Law, Planning, Environment and Energy.
Ana Pires da Silva focuses on Environmental and Climate Change Law, as well as energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and waste law. She has extensive experience in matters relating to industrial and environmental licensing, environmental impact assessment of programmes and projects, the production of gases, fuels, and renewable energy, waste management and treatment, carbon markets, ecosystem valuation and taxonomy, adopting both regulatory and compliance-driven approaches.
She is a co-author of the Global Practice Guides – Chambers and Partners – Alternative Energy & Power 2023 – Portugal and the Energy Regulation and Markets Review – Portugal (Law Reviews, UK), and has participated as a speaker in projects developed by APQuimica and APAI on Simplex Ambiental, as well as in seminars on the “Waste Management Regime”.
She completed her professional traineeship in 2005 and, in 2008, joined PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, where she worked as a senior associate and coordinated the environmental and administrative offences practice. In 2022, she joined Caldeira Pires & Associados as coordinator and head of the environmental and energy practice areas. In 2023, she became part of the Environment & Climate Change, Energy & Natural Resources, and ESG teams at Telles de Abreu, Law Firm.
In 2024, she moved to AMMC Legal and has been with Antas da Cunha Ecija since April 2026.
