BIOGRAPHY
Luís Branco Lopes (born 1984), Of Counsel at Antas da Cunha ECIJA & Associados, R.L. (2021).
Law degree from the Law School of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2008), he also completed a Master's in Law (2012), with Master´s dissertation in Labour and Employment Law, Post-Graduation in Employment and Social Security Law (2016), also having attended a Post-Graduation in Personal Data Protection (2018) and Seminary in Work Accidents, all from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Following his degree, he joined PLMJ as a summer trainee (2008) and Garrigues as a Junior Lawyer (2009) where he subsequently went on to become Senior Associate (2017) in the same Firm, integrated in the Labour and Social Security Department.
In 2019, he founded BLMP Law Firm (2019-2021), where he managed the litigation and employment departments.
Luís is a contributor to several publications on labour and sports issues and participated as speaker in Labour Law-related conferences.
He was distinguished by Best Lawyers in Employment in 2021.
Luís holds a pedagogical competences certificate since 2021.
Registered with the Bar Association since 2010, his preferred practice areas are Labour and Social Security Law.
