Lídia Neves (born in 1982), Of Counsel at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L., graduated in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon (2006), has master degree in Law from the same university (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Property Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon (2012). Among several other courses, she has completed a professional training course on Drafting Patent Applications at the National Institute of Industrial Property.

From 2007 to 2013, Lídia was a trainee and an associate lawyer at CCA Ontier and, from 2013 to 2023, she was an associate and senior associate at Miranda & Associados, with specialization in the areas of intellectual property law, TMT and data protection in several jurisdictions, namely, Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon and Timor-Leste.

Lídia is an Official Industrial Property Agent and European Trademark and Design Attorney (since 2012), a competent Arbitrator for disputes submitted to Voluntary Arbitration with ARBITRARE – Arbitration Centre for Industrial Property, Domain Names, Firms and Denominations (since 2015) and IP Scan expert, integrating the list of experts of the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union (since 2022).

Lídia is frequently invited to teach at the most varied courses and conferences. She has participated as a speaker in the following events: 1st Congress of the Federation of Portuguese Language Lawyers in São Paulo, Brazil, with the theme "Women and leadership positions in the CPLP" (2022); webinar "Intellect Property Law" promoted by ELSA Belgium, ELSA the Netherlands, ELSA Portugal and ELSA Instanbul (2021); training course on intellectual property given to Cabo Verde Digital - Government of Cape Verde (2021); conference "Mechanisms for the protection of intellectual property assets" held at the European University (2020), conference "Perfumes, the Work of Perfumers and the Rights of Perfume Trademarks: which protection?" held at the Lisbon Regional Council of the Portuguese Bar Association (2019); conference "Legal Challenges for Startups: A Practical Approach", held at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (2019); seminar on intellectual property held at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (2018); conference "Intellectual Property and Protection of Personal Data – The Present and the Future", held at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa (2016) and training courses at IFE - International Faculty For Executives, in matters of TMT and Intellectual Property.
