Post-graduation in Management and Corporate Law, NOVA FORUM – Formação de Executivos – Faculdade de Economia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2004) (certified by EQUIS) (2004).

João attended the 1st Professional Sports Law Specialisation Course at Instituto de Direito das Empresas e do Trabalho – Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra (2003).

Following his degree, João completed his internship at Sternberg, Galamba, Portugal & Associados and Tomaz Andrade Rocha law offices.

Between March 2005 and March 2008, he developed his practice at Tomaz Andrade Rocha law office, focusing on litigation.

Between April 2008 and September 2012, he was an Associate at the law firm Lima, Serra, Fernandes, e Associados, mainly focusing on litigation, particularly civil litigation.

Between September 2012 and June 2014, João developed his practice at the law firm Advogados ACFA – Antas da Cunha Ferreira & Associados as a Senior Associate and head of the Civil Litigation Department.

In June 2014, João joined Miranda, Correia e Amendoeira, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. as an Associate, focusing on Litigation/Labour.

His practice focuses mainly on litigation, particularly civil litigation.

João is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Associação de Ténis de Castelo Branco.
