Law Degree, Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (2004).

Post-graduation in Corporate Law, Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (2004).

Registered with the Portuguese Bar Association since 2006.

After the end of her internship, she was invited to join A. M. Pereira, Sáragga Leal, Oliveira Martins, Júdice & Associados, SP, RL (currently PLMJ, SP, RL), where she remained until August 2008.

Between September 2008 and December 2009, she worked at law firm Garrigues – Sucursal em Portugal SP, RL, in the corporate M&A team.

In January 2010, she returned to PLMJ, where she remained as Senior Associate of Corporate and M&A until she joined Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, SP R.L. in September 2021.

Carolina was nominated in the Best Lawyers editions of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 in the practice area of Corporate Law.

Carolina was recognized in 2022 and 2023 by Transactional Track Record (TTR), on Dealmakers Top 10 of M&A area.

During her career Carolina also worked in secondment in the legal department of Novabase (February 2017 – May 2017), in the legal department of TAP (December 2019 – April 2020), and in the Legal Department of Group Impresa (SIC and Expresso) (October 2020 - May 2021).

Attended the Intensive Specialization Course on Investment Funds, organized by the Private Law Research Centre, University of Lisbon Law School (2023).

Carolina has 18 years’ experience specializing in M&A, private equity, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and commercial contracts. During her career, she has worked on some of the highest profile matters in Portugal.
