Ricardo Cardoso (born 1978) is a Partner at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L..

Graduate of the Oporto Lusíada University Law School (2001). Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2003. Post-graduate degree in Company Law from Coimbra University Law School (2001). Admitted to the preparation of doctoral thesis in Law at the Oporto Catholic University Law School (2005). Master in International Sports Law, from the University of Lleida, Spain (2018). PhD student in Sports Law at the University of Lleida, in the process of preparing a thesis on the Image Rights of Sports Celebrities (2019). Academic Member at Atiner- Athens Institute for Education and Research (2018).

Was a jurist in the Portuguese Armed Forces from 2001 to 2002.
After the internship, joined Azenha, Ferraz & Associado - Sociedade de Advogados, R.L. as a lawyer, between 2004 and 2005. Between 2005 and 2009, in solo practice, particularly in the areas of corporate, commercial and tax law. In 2009, joined FRMBCS - Sociedade de Advogados RL as a founding partner. In 2014 joins CMB - Sociedade de advogados, R.L. as a founding partner. In 2023 joins Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. as a partner.

Preferential areas of practice are Sports Law, Commercial and Corporate Law.

Participates in several congresses, conferences and postgraduate studies in the area of Sports Law as a speaker, having published several scientific articles nationally and internationally in the same area.
